Travel Vaccinationsglobal air travel

If you require any vaccinations relating to foreign travel you need to make an appointment with the practice nurse to discuss your travel arrangements. This will include which countries and areas within countries that you are visiting to determine what vaccinations are required.

Where possible please make an appointment in the nurses general clinic at least six weeks before your departure date.  If you have any queries regarding your vaccines the Travel Vaccine Nurse will be happy to answer them. If you are a St Osyth patient please telephone the branch surgery to have your notes transferred to the main surgery for the attention of the travel vaccine nurse at least 48 hours before your appointment.

Travel Vaccines provided by the practice include:

Typhoid               Hepatitis A & B                 Meningitis A & C

Rabies                  Tetanus/Diptheria          Polio

Hepatitis B – The surgery is able to provide a hepatitis B vaccine for those patients in high risk employment.
