When We Are Closed

The Practice uses an out-of-hours service to enable its patients to access medical services when the Practice is closed.  For medical emergencies for both the main and branch sites, please telephone 111 where your call will be assessed and an appointment with an out of hours doctor will be made if necessary.  Calls to 111 are free from landlines and mobiles.

A&E and 999

Hospital Accident and Emergency, or A&E, provides urgent treatment for serious, life-threatening conditions.  You should travel to A&E yourself, if you can.  But if someone is too ill – for example, if they have collapsed or can’t breathe – dial 999 for an ambulance.

Out-of-hours services are generally busy so please think carefully before asking to see a doctor and only do so if you genuinely cannot wait until the surgery re-opens.
