Lisa Maddox

Practice Manager        

Amspar Diploma, ILA Diploma

Lisa has been at the practice for over 20 years and became Practice Manager in October 2002.  She is responsible for the overall management of the surgery, which includes the implementation of NHS directives, management of staff, administration of practice finances, practice organisation and health and safety requirements.

She deals with non-clinical patient welfare, i.e. responding to patient’s concerns/complaints and ensuring adequate services are provided.

Assistant Practice Manager

Maggie has been at the practice for over 10 years and assists in the overall management of the surgery.  Maggie manages the administration and reconciliation of all practice income and expenditure and has an experienced background in finance management.

Pat provides a free confidential service to all our patients and gives expert advice on benefits, form fillings, equipment, voluntary help and general advice on any problem.

Pat is a real asset to the surgery and a valued member of the team.

Receptionists provide an important link for patients with the practice and are your initial contact point for general enquiries. They can provide basic information on services and results and direct you to the right person depending on your health issue or query. Receptionists make most of the patient appointments with the GPs and nurses. They also perform other important tasks such as issuing repeat prescriptions and dealing with prescription enquiries, dealing with financial claims, dealing with patient records and carrying out searches and practice audits.
